 Dr. Vincent Lim, D.D.S.

Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Dr. Vincent Lim moved to California after his dental education. He has always worked hard and tried to become the best that he can be. When time permits, he enjoys life to the fullest by traveling around the world. It allows him to learn about different people and foreign cultures. He loves his profession because it allows him to meet many unique individuals while being able to help them. Perhaps his most memorable accomplishment was when he visited an Indian reservation in Tuba City, Arizona for 3 weeks. There he and his colleagues made dentures for the underprivileged Navajo elderly. Vince always looks forward to engaging in such opportunities to help people. He is married and has two wonderful sons.

 Dr. Allan Sio, D.D.S.

Though Dr. Allan Sio was born in Maryland, he grew up locally and attended UC Berkeley. His pride still lies with the Blue and Gold as he follows Cal basketball and football games. Go Bears! He obtained his dental education at UCSF and still returns as a part-time faculty volunteer to help dental students. For exercise, he plays in a basketball league in San Francisco. Among other things, he enjoys listening to Brazilian Bossa Nova, which he picked up from a recent trip to Rio de Janeiro. An enthusiast to traveling and a connoisseur of Belgian ales, he has also been to Europe and Asia. Someday, he and his cousin/partner, Dr. Vincent Lim, would like to go back to their parents’ home country of Burma and help improve the dental health of the underprivileged people. He is married and is enjoying everday life.

 Dr. Nathan G. Kaufman, D.D.S.

Dr. Nathan G. Kaufman has been practicing dentistry in the Berkeley/Albany area for the last 30 years. His hobbies include traveling, hiking, exercising at the YMCA, and working on various research projects in the field of dentistry. Currently, he is working on a project in conjunction with top leaders in the field of cariology at UCSF. He also teaches a class to the students on Research Investigation at UCSF Dental School. Nate, as all his patients call him, loves serving his community and doing the research that will become beneficial to the people of tomorrow.

Dr. Luis Kim, D.D.S.

Dr. Luis W. Kim graduated from UCLA in 1997 with a major in Biology and a minor in Spanish Literature.  Dr. Kim went on to attend the University of California at San Francisco (UCSF) for doctorate in dental surgery.  Thereafter, he completed a residency in periodontics at UCSF attaining a Certificate in Periodontics and a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences.  Dr. Kim is a member of OCDS, CDA, CSP (California Society of Periodontists), AAP (American Academy of Periodontology), and other professional groups dedicated to the practice of dentistry.  Dr. Kim attained valuable experience as an associate with several distinguished periodontists in Northern California after completing his residency.  Dr. Kim now maintains private practices in Berkeley and Newport Beach, CA, focusing on the treatment of gum diseases, regeneration of soft and hard oral tissues, and surgical placement of dental implants.  He is married, has two daughters, and lives in Orange County.
